Hi everyone,
I want to take a moment to tell you about Brandon and why he inspired me to create the "WorkForIt" scholarship.
Brandon has always had a way of filling a space without ever trying to take it over. There’s an ease to him a steadiness that makes people feel seen, understood, and safe. He leads with authenticity, never chasing approval or recognition, just showing up as himself.
He’s the kind of person who makes the world feel a little softer simply by being in it. His presence is comforting, his intentions are pure, and his strength is quiet but undeniable. Brandon listens without interrupting, helps without being asked, and cares without expecting anything in return. What makes him special isn’t something he tries to prove it’s something you feel the moment you’re around him.
In a world that often rewards noise and performance, Brandon’s genuine goodness stands out. To know him, even briefly, is to understand the quiet power of humility, compassion, and integrity.
Brandon grew up in Isle, Minnesota, where he balanced school, part-time jobs, and extracurricular activities such as wrestling, basketball, and football. He fell in love with basketball and played from elementary to high school. From never missing a practice to being captain his senior year and setting the Isle High School three-point record. Brandon continued to play basketball and go to school while working part-time at McDonalds. Brandon's life after high school was filled with job objectives and the expectation that he would become extremely successful one day.
Brandon’s passion isn’t about shortcuts or accolades. It’s about hard work, pride, and building something real. Whether he’s learning a new skill, helping his family, or figuring out the next step in his future, he does it with integrity and dedication. That’s exactly the kind of student I want the WorkForIt Scholarship to support.
This scholarship is for students like Brandon, those who are ready to put in the work, who are excited about hands-on careers, and who might not always fit the “traditional” mold, but who are building their future anyway. It’s not just about money. It’s about saying: we see you. Your work matters. Your future is worth investing in.
Brandon inspired this scholarship because he reminded me what real ambition looks like and every time I think about the impact it can have on students like him, I’m more motivated than ever.
If you’re reading this and you’re a student ready to work for your future who believes like Brandon, I hope you’ll join us. Let’s make sure no hardworking student goes unnoticed.
With gratitude and belief in the next generation,
Trinity Louviere
